Ingredients
2 cup / 500 ml | fresh strawberries |
1 | ripe avocado, pitted and peeled |
1 cup / 250 g | Naturegg Simply Egg Whites, well shaken |
1 cup / 250 ml | lemonade |
1 cup / 250 ml | crushed ice |
1 tbsp / 15 ml | maple syrup or honey (optional) |
Directions
Place the strawberries, avocado, egg whites, lemonade, crushed ice and honey (if using) in a blender.
Blend, stopping to stir as needed, for 2 minutes or until smooth and well combined. Serve immediately.
Tips
Replace the strawberries with raspberries, blueberries or a combination of fresh or frozen berries or fruit.
Adjust the sweetness as needed to taste.
For an extra protein boost, add 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder to the smoothie and adjust consistency with additional lemonade to taste.
