Nutritional Information
Ingredients
1-2 | Naturegg Omega 3, large eggs (varies by size of dish) |
0.5 - 2 tbsp / 7.5 to 30 ml | Water |
1/8 tsp / 0.5 ml | Baking powder |
Spritz | Canola oil cooking spray (or similar) |
Salt and Pepper, to taste |
Directions
MICROWAVE:
Choose a round, oven-safe glass or ceramic bowl with a flat bottom that is 9cm / 3 inches in diameter, the most common size of an English Muffin. Note: the flat, bottom part of the bowl will be the size of the egg patty. (Refer to our 'Tips' for instructions on dishes with alternate sizes)
Spray the round, oven-safe glass or ceramic dish with cooking spray.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the water and baking powder.
Add the egg and whisk vigorously until the mixture is fully combined and nice and even in color. This takes about a minute. You should no longer see any clear clumps (egg white).
Pour the scrambled egg mixture into the greased ramekin or dish.
Cook in microwave for 1 minute. (This is based on 1100-1200w microwave. For lower wattage microwaves, add 10 to 15 seconds)
Tips
For a lighter, fluffier texture replace water with milk or cream
