- Cook time: 10-15 min
Ingredients
4 slice | brioche bread |
1/2 cup | 2% milk |
7 | Naturegg Omega 3 shell eggs |
1/2 cup | granulated sugar |
1 tsp | cinnamon |
4 tsp | butter |
4 tbsp | honey |
Directions
In a shallow plate, crack 3 eggs and beat them with a whisk or fork. Set aside.
In another shallow plate, pour the milk.
In the last shallow plate, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Mix it well.
In a hot pan, on medium heat, melt 1/2 teaspoon of butter.
Take one slice of brioche, dunk it in the beaten eggs, soaking both sides. Then, place it in the milk and do the same.
Fry the slice on both sides until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes on each sides)
Once ready, place the brioche in the sugar mix and coat it on both sides.
Repeat with all the slices.
In the same pan, on medium heat, melt ½ teaspoon of butter and crack an egg. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until the white is cooked and crispy on the edges but the yolk is still runny. Repeat with the remaining eggs or do all the eggs at the same time if you have a large pan.
Drizzle half a tablespoon of honey on a slice, add the sunny side egg and drizzle half a tablespoon of honey overtop the egg.
Repeat with the 3 other slices and enjoy!
Tips
If you are using stale brioche you may want to dunk in the milk first and then the eggs. Otherwise, the order does not matter.
