Ingredients

2 slices cooked bacon
1 small tomato, sliced
1/4 cup / 50 ml baby greens
2 tsp / 10 ml butter (optional)
1 bagel
1 EGG Bakes! Egg Patty

Directions

  1. Cook egg patty in microwave according to package directions.

  2. Meanwhile, toast bagel and spread with butter (if using).

  3. Layer bottom bagel with baby greens, tomato and bacon. Top with patty and cap with remaining bagel. Serve immediately.

Tips

  1. Make your own "ready to heat" bacon. Arrange sliced bacon on a rack on a rimmed baking sheet and bake at 350°F (180°C) for 25 minutes or until almost crisp. Blot dry on paper-towel and store in a ziptop bag in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Microwave on HIGH for 20 to 30 seconds or until hot and crisp.

  2. Add a slice of cheese if desired.
