'Have Two' Fudge Brownies

Ingredients

3/4 cup / 175 ml all purpose flour
1/2 cup / 125 ml cocoa powder
1/2 tsp / 2 ml baking powder
1/4 tsp / 1 ml salt
1 1/4 cup / 300 ml sugar
1/2 cup / 125 g Naturegg Simply Egg Whites, well shaken
1/3 cup / 75 ml vegetable oil
1 tsp / 5 ml vanilla

Directions

  1. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in large bowl. In another bowl, whisk sugar, liquid egg whites, oil and vanilla until creamy. Add egg mixture to dry ingredients, stirring just until blended.

  2. Pour into greased 8” (20 cm) square pan. Bake at 350°F (180°C) 20-25 minutes or until firm to the touch (do not overbake). Cool and cut into squares. Store in refrigerator.

Tips

  1. Variation: Add ½ cup (125 mL) sliced almonds to flour mixture.
