McBramble (The McFall Bramble)
The Bramble is a McFall and Hudson family favourite, particularly over the holidays. The colours are so festive!

- Cook time: 0 min
Ingredients
1.5 oz / 45 ml | Hendricks Gin |
2 oz / 60 ml | Chambord |
2/3 oz / 20 ml | simple syrup |
2/3 oz / 20 ml | Naturegg Simply Egg Whites |
2/3 oz / 20 ml | lemon juice |
Directions
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, and add gin, Chambord, lemon juice, egg whites and simple syrup. Shake until well-chilled.
Fill a small tumbler with crushed ice and slowly pour the shaken mixture for a nice layer of froth.
Garnish with blackberries.
Tips
To make the simple syrup, add equal parts sugar and water to a small pot; heat until the sugar dissolves.
Chambord can be replaced with Crème de mûre (Blackberry liqueur) for a more traditional approach. You can also use Crème de cassis (Black currants) or Pomegranate liqueur.
Experiment by using Pisco instead of gin.
Bramble flavours can also be infused into a cheesecake; we haven't tried this yet but it sounds delicious!
Naturegg Simply Egg Whites
Made from 100% pure egg whites. We mean simple.
Learn MoreTips: Whipping
If you over beat egg whites and they're too stiff, gently stir in 1 or 2 unbeaten whites to every 5 or 6 whites or add a few teaspoons of sugar and beat again briefly until they are smooth.
