Mixed Berry Protein Popsicles

Bursting with the natural sweetness of mixed berries and the creamy richness of Greek yogurt, these popsicles are a tasty way to stay cool. With the added egg whites for an extra protein boost, they’re perfect for a post-workout treat or a guilt-free indulgence anytime.

Ingredients

1/2 cup Naturegg Simply Egg Whites, well shaken
1/2 cup 2% milk
1/2 cup 2% plain Greek yogurt
2 cup baby spinach
1 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
1 ripe banana, cut into chunks
1/2 cup crushed ice

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender. Blend, stopping to stir as needed, for 2 minutes or until smooth and well combined.

  2. Pour into 6 x 100mL popsicle mold and freeze overnight.

  3. Gently remove from the mold and enjoy!

  1. You’ll need a 6 x 100mL silicone popsicle mold for this recipe.

Tips: Whipping

When adding sugar to egg whites begin after the whites are foamy and then add 1 tablespoon at a time, beating as you slowly sprinkle the sugar in. Check to be sure that sugar is dissolved by rubbing a bit of beaten white between your thumb and forefinger. It should feel smooth.
