Ingredients
- 1/2 cup / 125 g
 - Naturegg Simply Egg Whites, well shaken
 - 1/2 cup / 125 ml
 - 2% milk
 - 1/2 cup / 125 ml
 - plain, nonfat or 2% Greek yogurt
 - 2 cup / 500 ml
 - baby spinach or kale
 - 1 1/2 cup / 375 ml
 - frozen blueberries
 - 1
 - very ripe banana, cut into chunks
 - 1/2 cup / 125 ml
 - crushed ice
 - 2 tsp / 10 ml
 - flaxseed oil
 - 1 tsp / 5 ml
 - honey (optional to taste)
 
Directions
Place the egg whites, milk, yogurt, spinach, blueberries, banana, ice and flax oil into a blender. Blend, stopping to stir as needed, for 2 minutes or until smooth and well combined. Serve immediately.
Tips
Add a flavor and health boost by adding 1/2 tsp (2 mL) ground cinnamon, which has been shown to have antibacterial and immune boosting properties.
Substitute agave syrup for the honey.
Substitute 2% milk for skim or almond, oat or soy beverage.
