Ingredients

2 cup / 500 ml ice cubes
2 frozen, ripe bananas, chopped
3/4 cup / 175 g Naturegg Simply Egg Whites, well shaken
1/4 cup / 50 ml light smooth peanut butter
2 tbsp / 30 ml unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp / 30 ml honey (approx.)

Directions

  1. Place ice cubes, bananas, egg whites, peanut butter, cocoa powder and honey in a blender.

  2. Pulse, stopping to stir as needed, until smooth and frothy. Adjust sweetness with additional honey to taste. Serve immediately. Makes 4 cups (1 L).

Tips

  1. Using frozen bananas adds extra body and thickness to the smoothie while keeping it colder, longer. Keep a re-sealable bag of frozen sliced bananas in the freezer to make this beverage any time.
