Ingredients
2 cup / 500 ml | ice cubes |
2 | frozen, ripe bananas, chopped |
3/4 cup / 175 g | Naturegg Simply Egg Whites, well shaken |
1/4 cup / 50 ml | light smooth peanut butter |
2 tbsp / 30 ml | unsweetened cocoa powder |
2 tbsp / 30 ml | honey (approx.) |
Directions
Place ice cubes, bananas, egg whites, peanut butter, cocoa powder and honey in a blender.
Pulse, stopping to stir as needed, until smooth and frothy. Adjust sweetness with additional honey to taste. Serve immediately. Makes 4 cups (1 L).
Tips
Using frozen bananas adds extra body and thickness to the smoothie while keeping it colder, longer. Keep a re-sealable bag of frozen sliced bananas in the freezer to make this beverage any time.
